If you’re in the Bay Area, join me and Ivy Bravo of Latina Vegana for a plant-based potluck and conversation about our experiences navigating a plant-based lifestyle. We’ll be giving out recipes, advice and introducing topics that highlight the intersections of our experience as food justice advocates and the movement building work we do.

When: Saturday, November 18, 2017, 12:30-3:30 pm

Where: Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice at 2285 International Boulevard Oakland, CA 94606

RSVP: spanglishvegankitchen@gmail.com

What to bring: Plant-based means free of any animal products — meat, dairy, eggs, etc. Whether you’re an established vegan or just curious about healthy plant-based eating, all POC are welcome. We encourage you to bring enough food for 3 or more people. For a great guide on plant-based recipes, visit these blogs;
